Reaction to 'Retraction'
Wednesday November 14, 2007

As all of you are probably aware there has been some choice words that have been said about the "Rookie Challange".  Fidel came out and swallowed his pride and issued a 'Retraction Statement'.  That move needs to be followed by others that have been trying to come to the fore front and put this issue at the center of attention.  In my opinion this is the best site for investors new to the game or investors that are seasoned veterans in the market to colaborate with one another and find some stocks that will make some $$$.  I am not sure about what purpose all of you are on this site but as for me I am on here to find that next big stock, increase the size of my portfolio, to network with other investors and to build some business relationships.  Just remember that the more people that you are communicating with on a positive level here in this community the more sets of eyes you have to find those stocks that you otherwise probably would not have heard of.  And on top of that in this industry...who you know is just as important if not more important than what you know.

New Records...interesting...
Wednesday October 10, 2007

Well there were 2 new record closes yesterday.  As everyone knows DJI and S&P 500 both had record closes yesterday in what before seemed to be a real lackluster market.  The lending industry has sunk to new lows and there is really not anything that anyone can do about it except to ride it out.  In addition look at what is going on in the banking industry...Washington Mutual among others are reporting that they are going to have about a 70% drop in profits in the next quarter.  They are not the only ones.  City Bank is reporting a similar drop in profit.  This is something that i feel I am going to take into strong consideration and look at everything that is happening.  As a matter of fact I am still in some smaller stocks that I am able to do a little bit of day trading so that I can still make some money.  I am also in some Blue Chip and trying to regain the confidence for myself that I once had in this rollar coaster of a market.  To make a long story short, I feel that even though the market is seeming to be a tough nut to crack I still feel that there is something to be said of a market that seems to be down and out and then raises back from the dead dispite all the hits that it has taken

Is it really 'Happy Friday'??
Friday August 17, 2007
Well, what can I say. This week has hurt a lot of people and I don't know if I can spreak for everyone, but I have to say that at certain points this week when I was looking at my portfolios they looked like they were bleeding. As of today the feds led a charge by dropping rates a half of a percent...but really what is that going to do?? Lets be realistic, when the market opened this morning the we were up about 325 points and then the market seems to have lost some steam. Could it all be for nothing? Could all of this just be to try to gain at least a little confidence back from investors. Well nobody really knows for sure but there is one thing that I do know for sure and that is, keep your eyes open to what is going on. If there ever was a time that the market was exposing themselves...the time is now. As for me...I have a few stocks that I am holding onto for a long term play and I believe that for right now it is a good idea because I am not to happy with what is going on in the market and when things go the way that they have been going...well lets just say I like my money to work for me, I don' like to work for my money.
