Coal is apparently hot now and days.  Why?  Well with oil and natural gas-prices increasing, where it can be, coal is quickly becoming the source for fuel.

According to that old Christmas myth, if you've been naughty you're going to receive coal in your stocking, well, maybe that's not such a bad thing afterall, eh eh?  =)

Minus the Jewels, but PIED (Piedmont Mining Compnay, Inc.) is a company which focuses on the exploration of potential properties in Nevada which can hold high deposits of gold or silver.

Now they don't have/or intend to create their own exploration staff, so....CARE TO BE AN EXPLORER????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

Well, you can't really just be some random person who follows up on their news for a potential property, and get your shovel to sift through the sand like they did in the old days.  (there goes my dreams) But if you're an EXPERIENCED exploration group, then they option or joint venture the property with you.

No, this isn't a "WANTED" ad.  I just stumbled across this company and thought they were a good one to check out.  They constantly keep their news updated, filings, etc. and seem to be doing pretty well.

I mean hey...they put into production the first operating gold mine in the eastern U.S. since 1942.  Makes me want to go exploring some abandoned mines that I saw on the drive to Vegas.
