I don't know about how gas prices are where you live.  But it seems that gas prices are dropping dramatically.  I didn't want to get too excited a few days ago when I saw the price of regular gasoline almost drop to a less than $4, but today, it's dropped down to $3.99.

Now...is gas going to continue to be on the decline?  At least for the next few months?  This guy seems to think so.  I just read this blog on MSN about declining gas prices and the cost of oil.  It's pretty interesting.  Check it out: Can gas fall back to $3 a gallon this year?

What's the price of gas around your area?

Coal is apparently hot now and days.  Why?  Well with oil and natural gas-prices increasing, where it can be, coal is quickly becoming the source for fuel.

According to that old Christmas myth, if you've been naughty you're going to receive coal in your stocking, well, maybe that's not such a bad thing afterall, eh eh?  =)

Check this article out:  Can coal keep generating profits?

Well, you can, but maybe you should think twice. =)  Behold, this company called EcoPlus (ECPL.PK)...

"The EcoPlus process technology converts sticky fats, oils and grease along with incorporated food matter into a solid, granular material. The granular material may be used as a soil amending agent in agricultural applications, and also, the solids have a green fuel value with a BTU content similar to coal. The product was large scale burn tested and can be used as an adjunct fuel, often with little or no significant modification to feed system or materials handling protocols."

Pretty cool huh?  Well they just did an interview with Wallst.net:

http://www.wallst.net/audio/audio.asp?ticker=ECPL&id=4415

And the COO, Bill Scherffius, does have a profile:

Bill-Scherffius-ECPL

Now I'm pretty sure you can't just drop off your grease somewhere so they can use it for their services, but it's pretty interesting what they can do with those fats and oils.  I wish I could just drop it off as oppossed to wasting this seemingly valuable fuel.

Minus the Jewels, but PIED (Piedmont Mining Compnay, Inc.) is a company which focuses on the exploration of potential properties in Nevada which can hold high deposits of gold or silver.

Now they don't have/or intend to create their own exploration staff, so....CARE TO BE AN EXPLORER????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

Well, you can't really just be some random person who follows up on their news for a potential property, and get your shovel to sift through the sand like they did in the old days.  (there goes my dreams) But if you're an EXPERIENCED exploration group, then they option or joint venture the property with you.

Are you an EXPERIENCED EXPLORATION GROUP?

No, this isn't a "WANTED" ad.  I just stumbled across this company and thought they were a good one to check out.  They constantly keep their news updated, filings, etc. and seem to be doing pretty well.

I mean hey...they put into production the first operating gold mine in the eastern U.S. since 1942.  Makes me want to go exploring some abandoned mines that I saw on the drive to Vegas.

Yes, he did do an interview w/Wallst.net, here's the link:

http://www.wallst.net/audio/audio.asp?ticker=PIED&id=4309

And the CEO, Mr. Robert M. Shields Jr. DOES have a MYWALLST.NET PROFILE!!!!!!!!!!! Drop him a line:

Username:  Robert-Shields-PIED

For more info, don't ask me, ask him.  He's the CEO after all, like I said, I just came across this company and thought, "I want to explore some properties for gold/silver and start a mining company (dreaming big), where do I begin?"
