Did you see that pop in Domino's Pizza (DPZ)? Looks like things are going good for them. That promotion for the blockbuster hit The Dark Knight with their "Gotham City Pizza" might be the cause of some of this jump. Previous Blog about Batman Promotion Just yesterday CNBC announced the Pops and Drops (Biggest Market Movers) and DPZ was one of them at 22% Check it out: CNBC's Pop and Drops: July 22, 2008 Good job Domino's hopefully we'll see another Pop in Domino's soon. What do you think?

so looks like Jones Soda and Tony Hawk are pairing up once again. They've apprarently partnered in the past and they're back together again according to this JSDA interview. there will be a limited edition Boom Boom HuckJam Tony Hawk 4 pack to help promote the Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom HuckJam presented by T-Mobile® Sidekick® tour. the stock took a hit in march this year when it plummeted down from 6-7 dollars a share to an average of 2-3 dollars. but the stock is up 9.96% today, you think jones' soda is going to rise with this pairing?

heard the interview about COOL on the 3 minute press show and it's pretty interesting. they're apparently a video game developer for the nintendo DS and Wii, but focus on the family friendly/mass market sector. I think that's definitely the area to concentrate on as these two nintendo systems focus on a more family oriented audience (which is more universal, larger market) as oppossed to the sony playstation systems and the exobox which are more adult concentrated. according to the interview they're working on a new version of Cooking Mama, a game which allows you to simulate cooking by picking ingredients and preparing them to make specific recipes. i've actually played this game and it's pretty fun if i do say so myself. perhaps this game, an addition to the popular series, will help improve their stock. here's a link to the interview, COOL-Majesco Interview, this nasdaq company is only trading at 1.03 however, looking at their six month chart they've been hovering around 1.10-1.20, this being a low point for the company i wonder if this is going to reflect throughout other public video games companies in general as the economy takes a down turn what do you think? good stock to pick up now and hold for the holidays? video game industry in trouble? thoughts?

just heard an interview about them about a new promotion they're going to be doing. the show i usually watch is moving up it seems. first j.d. power and now domino's pretty good. (oh show is the 3 minute press show on wallst.net btw) anyways, this interview was apparently about a promotion that domino's (DPZ) is doing with the dark knight, the new batman movie. they're gonna have some meal or deal with the batman theme and are doing a sweepstakes online (Domino's Pizza Website) where you can win 10k. not sure how that works but apparently you can join that now and the deal/meal starts...or has started too haha, i just looked and now i want a "Gotham City Pizza". i already like pizza and i support the batman films so i think this might be a good deal for dominos because i'm sure many people like those things too. you think the stock is going to rise with this little promotional agreement? domino's fan? i think landing this little partnership is a plus for the company which is already the worlds leader in pizza delivery. here's the interview i heard, Domino's Interview, good stuff i say anyways, what do you think about the promotional deal? good stuff? yum pizza haha

this one is pretty cool. i just heard the interview about this company called aperture health (apre.ob) and it's pretty interesting. it's a social network for people who can get in contact with each other and discuss similar medical experiences, symptoms, etc. and just talk about how to deal with that stuff or just discuss medical related topics in general. perhaps meet people too by relating to each other. (hint hint wink wink if you qualify haha) it also provides access to free medical services i guess, like medical reports/records, fitness and health recommendations, all that stuff. it's suppossed to be free but i don't know...i haven't tried it yet, they have some sort of guarantee though that it's totally free and private but i'm skeptical of all that just like most of you out there are i'm sure. i mean i've been screwed in the past, but as a medical social network, sounds kinda cool. i guess they make money through their advertisors, not sure how that works, but they do haha, but yeah, it sounds pretty interesting. it's only on the bb though but check it out. what do you think? here's the interview i heard: http://tv.wallst.net/3-minute-press/133/611/APRE/thomas-banks/aperture-health-inc/

so i came across this company a while ago because i've actually heard of their products and now looks like they're moving up. sknn is a company that creates footware where you can have a special insole that made out of their comfy material and place it inside their interchangeable shoes, kind of....like...an ipod skin. so you keep the ipod (the insole) and swap the shoe (ipod skin), and their shoes are actually made of this material that's like an ipod skin, but they don't look like those ugly rubber garden clogs wtth the holes, they look like puma sneakers they're teaming up with zappos.com to get a wider distribution so that should be good. it's pretty interesting actually, so if you're into fashion, footware, stocks and up and coming companies, this might be a good one to look into. right now they're apparently trading on the bb but i think they might be getting big. probably a good long term investment. it's still a penny stock though so look more into it, but let me know what you think yeah? recent interview

Coal is apparently hot now and days. Why? Well with oil and natural gas-prices increasing, where it can be, coal is quickly becoming the source for fuel. According to that old Christmas myth, if you've been naughty you're going to receive coal in your stocking, well, maybe that's not such a bad thing afterall, eh eh? =) Check this article out: Can coal keep generating profits?

A new iPhone is going to be coming out soon. When? Soon, very soon...i.e. weeks or in days. Might be slimmer, fatter, who knows, but it's just suppossed to be new and improved. Check out this article I found on MSN: New iPhone Do you think people are going to be running to the store to pick these babies up? Might be a good idea to invest in Apple if you do, but with the economy these days, who knows if purchases are going to be made. Considering that those who wanted an iPhone probably already bought the original version, and it wasn't that long ago when it came out.

Alright so I saw this article on MSN and thought it was interesting, funny, and well just slightly ridiculous. All investments are a risk, but this one seems more like gambling on a race horse to me. What am I talking about? Well, this is about, "a minor-leaguer wants to give investors a chance to cash in on his future major-league earnings -- if he ever has any." Would you invest in "his stock?" So I was browsing the MSN Money section (usual thing when I get the spare time) and I saw this article, titled "5 'sure things' for investors," now of course...skepticism was evoked. I mean come on..."sure thing"
Here's a link to the article:
