Did you see that pop in Domino's Pizza (DPZ)? Looks like things are going good for them. That promotion for the blockbuster hit The Dark Knight with their "Gotham City Pizza" might be the cause of some of this jump. Previous Blog about Batman Promotion Just yesterday CNBC announced the Pops and Drops (Biggest Market Movers) and DPZ was one of them at 22% Check it out: CNBC's Pop and Drops: July 22, 2008 Good job Domino's hopefully we'll see another Pop in Domino's soon. so looks like Jones Soda and Tony Hawk are pairing up once again. They've apprarently partnered in the past and they're back together again according to this JSDA interview. there will be a limited edition Boom Boom HuckJam Tony Hawk 4 pack to help promote the Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom HuckJam presented by T-Mobile® Sidekick® tour. the stock took a hit in march this year when it plummeted down from 6-7 dollars a share to an average of 2-3 dollars. but the stock is up 9.96% today, you think jones' soda is going to rise with this pairing?

just heard an interview about them about a new promotion they're going to be doing. the show i usually watch is moving up it seems. first j.d. power and now domino's pretty good. (oh show is the 3 minute press show on wallst.net btw) anyways, this interview was apparently about a promotion that domino's (DPZ) is doing with the dark knight, the new batman movie. they're gonna have some meal or deal with the batman theme and are doing a sweepstakes online (Domino's Pizza Website) where you can win 10k. not sure how that works but apparently you can join that now and the deal/meal starts...or has started too haha, i just looked and now i want a "Gotham City Pizza". i already like pizza and i support the batman films so i think this might be a good deal for dominos because i'm sure many people like those things too. you think the stock is going to rise with this little promotional agreement? domino's fan? i think landing this little partnership is a plus for the company which is already the worlds leader in pizza delivery. here's the interview i heard, Domino's Interview, good stuff i say anyways, what do you think about the promotional deal? good stuff? yum pizza haha

I don't know if you guys remember a previous blog I wrote about NHYF, it's a company that makes a healthy alternative meat product for conscientious eaters, (Previous NHYF Blog) but in that previous blog I was eager to try this stuff out. Unfortunately it was unavailable in my area, and was only sold in select regions, but according to this recent press release that they issued, their food products are now available at TARGET. Well, as soon as this stuff hits the stores, I'm going to make sure to pick some up and give you a full report of the results. Just what does a half meat half soy product taste like? I'll soon find out.

Found this article on MSN: http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/SuperModels/CouldWeReallyRunOutOfFood.aspx Now I saw this article's title, and being a big food lover I had to read it. Did it evoke a sense of fear, no, it actually made me laugh. The article mentions an increase in food prices due to lower production and the scarecity of food in areas outside of the U.S. Along with the decrease of food quality in restaurants due to the lack of resouces (since food products are not only pricey but scarce as well). The article goes on talking about the subject and at the very end mentions good investments during these harsh times, nice segway, thought it was amusing, what do you think? Are you hoarding your food for the upcoming famine, spending wisely on groceries, or not changing any food spending habits whatsoever?

So you like meat? Or should I say love meat but that in turn has led to a number of health problems? The answer to your problems is right around the corner...JUST CALL...jk Ever heard of Natural Harmony Foods? The name alone evokes feelings of all organic, veggie items, don't you think? Well...not really the case with this company. So this company makes half meat and half soy products for those people who still want to eat meat but eat healthy at the same time. I haven't really tried these items but I'm really really curious to. I just want to see what a half meat and half soy burger tastes like just because I'm not a big fan of boca burgers but maybe the taste might be hidden by the meat. Anyways check them out: http://www.naturalharmonyfoods.com And they put out a recent press: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080114/lam023.html?.v=101 They might be an interesting company to check out because it's really an interesting idea but I think they're just not getting enough promo. I don't think a rep. from the company has a Mywallst.net profile, kind of a shame because maybe I can try to get a free sample. =) I'll keep you posted if I ever get a taste.
