Do not have any pre conceived notions about it being one of those super hero movies where the caped crusader flies around and all his enemies go into hiding the moment his name is mentioned. Director Christopher Nolan created a stir with ‘Batman Begins’ by portraying the crime fighter as a dark superhero who fights crime but has shades of grey and is trying to exorcise his own demons. With ‘The Dark Knight’, he takes the plot a notch higher.
For all those who love Batman, think again. You might start hating him once you watch the film. It is a very dark tale of vengeance, love, betrayal and sorrow. The film garnered a lot of press before its release due to the untimely death of Heath Ledger who plays the role of ‘The Joker’. Ledger’s legacy will be etched forever in the hearts of all those die hard loyalists of the legendary franchise. He has managed to deliver the performance of a lifetime by portraying the Joker as a very sadistic, cold, maniacal psychopath who cares for no one and has an unmatched desire for destruction. Ledger’s performance is so strong that he makes the Joker played by Jack Nicholson in the 1989 movie look like a graceful clown. It can unarguably be said that the Joker will now find a place for himself amongst legendary on-screen villains like Hannibal, Scarface and Darth Vader.
The film manages to cover emotions from all corners. Christian Bale as the returning Bruce Wayne/Batman shows why he was the perfect choice. A proud businessman, a superhero full of vendetta, a person craving for his girlfriend’s love, Bale emotes all the personas with panache. Michael Caine as the cheerful and fatherly butler Alfred does a remarkable job and so does the legendary Morgan Freeman as the newly appointed CEO of Wayne Enterprises and a close confidante of Batman. Gordon, the honest cop and an ally of Batman is played to perfection by Gary Oldman. Maggie Gyllenhaal adds all the required feminine qualities to Rachel Dawes, Bruce Wayne’s love interest. Aaron Eckhart adds a lot of believability to the character of Harvey Dent, a man who sees nothing but justice as an attorney but later turns into the hatred filled Two-Face when his girlfriend dies (He and Rachel are about to get married much to the dismay of Bruce Wayne).
The kind of chaos that Joker unleashes on Gotham shows as if one would see part II of the 9/11 attacks. Heath manages to steal the show as the self proclaimed ‘Agent of Chaos’ and the rest of the performances give the emotional angle an unmatched look. ‘The Dark Knight’ by all ways is a tale told with lots of passion and enthusiasm. It comes as no surprise that the movie has shattered a lot of box office records and deserves kudos for its story and screenplay.
A must watch for all those who have never seen the other side of the man in the rubber suit. The movie leaves the viewers gasping for more as the credits roll on with police dogs chasing the masked protector of the city of Gotham.
It is time to Experiment

Conventional thoughts have started changing into contemporary proposals. People who used to be petrified by the very thought of working at home now have started doing the same as they are finding it very comfortable. The uneasiness has disappeared into thin air and obsolete ideas have been replaced by youthful exuberance.
It reminds me of my neighbor’s kid. A high school graduate, he just started his freshman year at college and was looking for a part time job. Some body told him about me that I knew about earning money online. He would come daily after college and irritate me to help him get some work. I had to finally give in to his demands and told him about CashClicker. Behold!!! The boy came to me after a month and told me that he had made more than $500. All I could do was gaze at him in astonishment.
I spent the next couple of nights thinking that how could a boy with ruffled hair and who only talked about Lindsay Lohan be so enterprising that he earned so much within such a short span of time. I could not think further as brain really started revolting after the humungous pressure that I had subjected it too.
I guess the very reason the boy earned so much was his will to work. His father was telling me that he used to spend all his free time working on the net trying out different things. All those reading this article, even you can learn something from the boy and capitalize.
So, what are you waiting for?
